Hey,

Stetson here.

To kick off the month of March, I figured I’d give you an update on what the 3 best cell phone plans are so far this year.

If you’re looking to save money on your cell phone bill, you’ll want to check these out:

Here’s a quick run-down of each of the plans:

1. Best Value: US Mobile’s $15 10GB Annual Plan

US Mobile’s 10GB annual plan is priced at $180 upfront for the year with all taxes and fees included.

That breaks down to $15 per month.

For the price, this plan is unbeatable.

Mint Mobile’s $15 annual plan includes half the high-speed data, just 5GB per month. Boost Mobile also only gives you 5GB for $15. And T-Mobile’s $15 Connect plan includes a measly 3.5GB of high-speed data per month.

If you want the best bang for your buck, look no further than US Mobile.

What else does this plan include?

It comes with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, and the ability to use all 10GB of high-speed data as hotspot data.

Video streams at 4K quality if you activate on T-Mobile (which US Mobile brands as “GSM 5G”) and at 720p quality if you activate on Verizon (which US Mobile brands as “Warp 5G”).

Somehow, US Mobile was even able to squeeze in free unlimited international calling to 200+ destinations with the plan.

For $15 per month, this is my #1 pick for the best value plan.

Honorable Mention: Committing to an annual cell phone plan is not for everyone. If you’re in the camp where you’d prefer to pay month-to-month on your phone service, then check out Tello’s $17 10GB plan.

2. Best Unlimited: Visible’s $25 Unlimited Plan

I am convinced Visible’s $25 unlimited plan is the best unlimited data plan in the industry.

The price includes all taxes and fees.

You get unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited high-speed data, and unlimited hotspot data at 5Mbps.

All with nationwide coverage on Verizon’s 4G LTE and 5G networks.

What more could you want?

Visible’s plan has the best combination of features at this price point.

Honorable Mention: If you want a plan with priority data on the Verizon network, you may want to consider Visible+. For $15 extra, you get 50GB of priority data on LTE (same network experience as Verizon postpaid customers), unlimited priority data on 5G UW, 500 minutes of free international calling to 30+ destinations, and 0.5GB of roaming per day in Canada and Mexico. Visible+ is my pick as the best plan for a premium network experience.

3. Best for Families: AT&T Unlimited Starter SL

Despite AT&T raising prices with their new Unlimited Starter SL plan, it still remains one of the best options for families.

What makes it so great?

Its combination of features and price point.

AT&T Unlimited Starter SL starts at $65.99 per month for a single line. But it drops to as low as $30.99 when you have five lines. The plan includes unlimited high-speed data, 5GB of hotspot data, and free unlimited data roaming in Canada and Mexico.

Those are all the core features most people need.

Most importantly, AT&T Unlimited Starter SL is still eligible for AT&T’s best device trade-in deals.

That means you can score up to $1,000 off an iPhone 15 Pro Max or a free Galaxy S24+.

Five lines with five financed phones would be $175.63 per month including all taxes and fees on AT&T Unlimited Starter SL.

That same setup would cost a whopping $246.47 per month on Verizon’s Unlimited Welcome plan!

A free phone + a great price on a cell phone plan = a winning combination.

That’s what makes AT&T Unlimited Starter SL my pick for the best plan for families.

Honorable Mention: If you and your family prefer not to do carrier trade-in deals, then going with a prepaid carrier will likely be more affordable. Visible’s Base plan costs just $25 per line per month, a tough price point to beat.
