US Mobile just launched a brand new unlimited plan.
It’s called US Mobile Unlimited Premium Dark Star.
Is this the new best unlimited plan?
Here are the full details:
Price: $44/mo ($32.50/mo with annual option)
Data: Unlimited priority data
Hotspot: 200GB (100GB at full speed, then 100GB at 8 Mbps)
Video Streaming: 4K video streaming (no cap)
International Texting: Free texting to 200+ countries
International Calling: Free calling to 200+ countries
Canada & Mexico Roaming: 200 minutes, 250 texts, and 20GB in Canada and Mexico
International Roaming: 200 minutes, 250 texts, and 10GB-20GB in 49 countries
International Roaming (Data only): 10GB-20GB in 42 additional countries
When I first saw these features, I couldn’t believe it.
Unlimited priority data? 200GB hotspot?? 4K streaming??? 🤯
That’s:
✅ The same unlimited priority data as AT&T Unlimited Premium PL, T-Mobile Go5G Plus, and Verizon Unlimited Ultimate
✅ Over 3x more hotspot data than the previous top plans (AT&T and Verizon previously tied at the most with 60GB)
✅ The same 4K video streaming quality as the top plans
✅ Some of the most international data available (AT&T offers unlimited, but requires a $12/day add-on; T-Mobile includes 5GB; and Verizon includes 10GB. 20GB for free from US Mobile is really good)
And all of this for $44 per month???
Sooo…
What’s the catch?
The biggest catch is that some features don’t work on iPhone.
Here’s the breakdown:

I was disappointed to see the lack of features on iPhone.
No group messaging? In 2025? Are you kidding me?
For me, that’s a deal-breaker.
But, if you primarily use iMessage and don’t need group messaging or RCS, then this plan is a great value.
And it’s AWESOME for Android users. Every feature works perfectly.
So, is this the new best unlimited plan?
If you get great AT&T coverage, US Mobile’s new plan is a great value. Probably the best there is on the AT&T network.
If you prefer coverage on Verizon, I’d probably opt for the Visible+ plan instead.
And if you want T-Mobile coverage, then it turns out Mint Mobile just upgraded their plan to truly unlimited data, which is a crazy good deal for $30/month.
